"It is unfortunate that you cannot walk between San Marco and Santa Maria. There are wet rocks on the beach, so not baby friendly, and the only other alternative is a very busy and dangerous road without sidewalks.
I visited in April. All restaurants serve dinner from 7:30 PM but that is simply too late for family tourists with babies.
I would recommend Salerno or something closer to Salerno and visit Castellabate as a day trip"
